Striking, deep red leaves, and a moderately contorted, spreading growth habit. This ornamental Hazelnut shows a better red leaf color even in late summer. Mid-sized leaves allow the interesting contorted growth to be visible in the summer months, and then when winter comes, the branches can really be appreciated against a backdrop of snow.
