Large, very fragrant flowers have pure white rays held horizontally in double rows around a bold yellow cone. This vigorous Coneflower has an extended bloom season through summer and fall. Sturdy, well-branched stems hold blooms that are 4-5" wide. Good for cut flowers. Echinacea 'Fragrant Angel' is a staff favorite for its sweet clover scent, appealing bloom form, and strong upright habit.
Grow Echinacea, also known as Coneflower, in a border, cottage or butterfly garden, or in a natural-type planting mingled with grasses and native plants. Plant in well drained soils. Drought tolerant when established. Deer resistant, attracts butterflies and song birds, and makes a long lasting cut flower.
