Unique blooms in a cinnamon-plum tone over buttery yellow. Baptisia 'Cinnamon Toast' blooms in late spring to early summer in Lupine-like racemes. Exclusive to Song Sparrow. Pair with yellow Baptisia for stunning color interest.
Baptisia, also known as False Indigo, has attractive blue-green foliage and ornamental seed pods. A wonderful and long-lived choice for perennial borders, cottage gardens, or mingled with native plants in a meadow or prairie type planting. It is drought tolerant when established, deer resistant, and attracts butterflies. Good for cut flowers.
