Soft, fuzzy, silvery grey leaves, add interesting texture and restful breaks in a bright colors border. It has a dense habit and is often used as a small scale groundcover or edging. Stachys 'Fuzzy Wuzzy' blooms in early summer with wooly, 14-16" lavender spikes rising above the cool silver foliage. We like to pick these at the bud stage and add to small bouquets. Give this good drainage, rake vigorously in early spring to remove old foliage. Deer resistant, drought tolerant. Grow along border edges, in rock gardens, and containers. Its soft texture makes it the perfect addition to children's gardens.
