Reddish-purple flowers with white interiors. Large, cup-shapped blooms reach up to 8" in diameter. Blooms shortly before the foliage begins to appear. Foliage turns yellow to bronze-copper tones in fall. A slow-growing small tree with a shrub-like habit that typically matures to 10-15' tall and 8-12' wide. In the 'Little Girl' Magnolia series; these Magnolia flower about 2-4 weeks later than M. stellata and M. x soulangiana, thus reducing the risk of damage to flowers from late spring frosts. Magnolia 'Jane' is a cross between M. liliiflora 'Nigra' and M. stellata 'Rosea'. We grow our Magnolia on their own roots.
