Fern-like foliage has pink to orange tips on the new growth. Summer brings white flowers in dense panicles and the healthy foliage turns all green. More compact in habit than the species. Normally Sorbaria sorbifolia spreads by suckers, but there are no signs of invasiveness/suckering on this selection during the last five years it has been growing in a garden setting. Good drought resistance when established. Also known as Ural False Spirea. Grow Sorbaria 'Emerald Charm' in foundation plantings, shrub groupings, and mixed borders.
