☆FALL COLOR 

Very large fresh white blooms in spring have good substance and overlapping bracts. Flowers at a young age. Excellent resistance to powdery mildew. Good red fall color. A lovely and very ornamental selection of the eastern U.S. native Dogwood. Matures to 15-30' and 12-25' wide. Will grow in full sun, but prefers part shade. Plant in organically rich soil and mulch to conserve moisture. Grow Cornus 'Jean's Appalachian Snow' as a specimen or along a woodland edge. Cornus florida, a beautiful and beloved native tree has striking, iconic spring blooms, red fruit for birds approximately 1/2" in size, and foliage that turns shades of red in fall. Will grow in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade, but is ideally grown in moist, organically rich, acidic soils in part shade. Benefits from 2-4" of organic mulch. This ornamental tree can reach 15-30' in height and width.
