Abundant blooms have white spurs and rose pink centers; they are held above the foliage. This is a vigorous hybrid Epimedium that flowers heavily and forms impressive clumps. Evergreen leaves are green dappled with burgundy. Can rebloom when happy with their site. From Epimedium guru Darrell Probst.
Spring-blooming Epimedium are delicate looking plants with a strong constitution, tolerating deep shade and tree root competition. Ideally they enjoy well drained, organic soil with even moisture, but they are also drought resistant when established, making them a great choice for dry shade. Very appealing, refined foliage. A long-lived perennial for the front of a shady bed, as a groundcover, or in woodland gardens. Deer resistant. Epimedium are also known as Barrenwort, Bishop's Hat, or Fairy Wings.
