Beautiful foliage and flowers, too! In spring, large, dissected leaves emerge amber yellow with deep rose centers; as temperatures increase, the leaves mellow to bright chartreuse green with a silver overlay; forms a low mound of foliage. Although Heucherella are generally grown for their lovely foliage, Heucherella 'Eye Spy' also has a colorful display of rosy pink flowers on 16" tall scapes in late spring to early summer. The Heuchera villosa in its parentage gives it tolerance to heat and humidity. Evergreen in areas with mild winters. A Proven Winners® selection.
Also known as Foamy Bells, Heucherella is a hybrid genus produced from a cross between Heuchera and Tiarella. Prefers moisture retentive, well-drained soil. Grow at the front of borders, in containers, and in wooded areas.
