Brother Charles Reckamp was a member of the Society of Divine Word missionaries in Techny, Illinois, and a true giant in the Daylily breeding world. Using focused and disciplined line breeding, he concentrated on form, texture, subtle coloring and complementary ruffling, combined with flower count and overall vigor.
Daylilies bloom in summer and are very long lived, easy to grow perennials. We ship double-fan, bare root Daylilies from mid April through November, weather permitting.
Our Daylilies are hardy, dormant-type varieties grown in our fields in southern Wisconsin. Recommended for USDA Hardiness Zones 3-10.
