Memorable name for this appealing plant! Acer japonicum 'Emmett's Pumpkin', turns a rich pumpkin orange in fall. Early season leaves are green with a reddish-orange blush. A slow-growing Japanese Maple with an open but bushy form. Prefers well-drained soil.
The Golden Full Moon Maple has been revered for over 200 years in Japan. Golden yellow spring leaves turn chartreuse in summer, often with red along the margins, then to scarlet, lastly a golden brown in fall. Compact, dense, rounded habit. Avoid exposed, hot, dry situations. Acer shirasawanum 'Aureum' makes a stunning and colorful addition to the landscape.
A vigorous Golden Full Moon Maple whose young coppery-orange spring and summer leaves mature to chartreuse. Rich orange fall color. A miniature evergreen conifer with a dense flattened-globe form. This Hinoki Cypress has unusual foliage that gives the appearance of it glowing from the inside. Chamaecyparis '22 Karat' prefers morning sun and afternoon shade in an area with well-drained soil, also suitable for trugs and other containers.
Quirky and appealing little evergreen. This Hinoki Cypress is a dwarf, upright evergreen with very fine gray-green foliage. Very curious and delicate in appearance, but easy to grow. Plant Chamaecyparis 'Chirimen' in an area with well drained soil, also suitable for trugs and other containers.

This North American native plant prefers dry, well-drained soils in full sun. Will grow in medium moisture soils, too, as long as there is good drainage. Avoid wet winter soils. Dense, tightly branched plants average 1-2" of growth per year and will most likely to reach 2-3' high and wide when mature. Grow Picea 'Golden Midget' as a focal point near a seating area, in a rock garden, or as a part of a dwarf evergreen collection.

Grow Pinus 'Gimborn's Pyramid' as a focal point, as part of an conifer collection, or near a seating area where its unique form can be appreciated at close range.
Strikingly narow! Pinus 'Stowe Column' is a columnar Eastern White Pine with dense blue-green foliage and a very narrow, upright habit. Found by Greg Williams in Vermont, near Stowe Mountain. Excellent choice in restricted spaces. Adapts to snow loads better than the type. Makes an outstanding focal point.
