If you love the look of traditional Delphiniums, but they are too tall for your garden, you can grow this beautiful compact variety, which comes in a mix of purple, blue, mauve, pink, lilac, and cream colored flowers. Some have contrasting central bees and others are solid in color. This new series of Delphiniums has all the characteristics of their taller cousins except their height. Compact growing, does not need staking, and will stay upright in pots. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds, deer resistant.

Delphiniums like a sunny, uncrowded spot, and rich soil since they are heavy feeders. They prefer a neutral to slightly basic pH, so add lime if your soil is acidic.
