A miniature evergreen conifer with a dense flattened-globe form. This Hinoki Cypress has unusual foliage that gives the appearance of it glowing from the inside. Chamaecyparis '22 Karat' prefers morning sun and afternoon shade in an area with well-drained soil, also suitable for trugs and other containers.
Lovely and intricate foliage. Golden Pillar Hinoki Cypress is a dwarf, upright evergreen with sprays of rich yellow foliage. Growth habit is dense, compact, and very narrow. Plant in an area with well drained soil, also suitable for trugs and other containers.
Appealing texture, form, and color. Chamaecyparis 'Just Dandy' has a dense compact, rounded habit and fine textured dark, green foliage. A petite evergreen with fascinating texture. The foliage on this dwarf Hinoki Cypress is a combination of typical fan-like leaves plus occasional slender wands extending out in a wavy, casual fashion adding visual interest. Grow Chamaecyparis 'Little Charmer' in containers, near a patio area, or in a conifer collection or railroad garden. Prefers well drained soil in sun to light shade.
Appealing color, texture, and size. Golden foliage is finely cut with a lacy appearance on this Hinoki Cypress. A dwarf, upright evergreen with a dense, pyramidal form, Chamaecyparis 'Spirited' grows large enough to make a statement, yet still fits into a smaller garden site. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade in an area with well-drained soil.

Bold texture and colorful foliage distinguish this dwarf, upright tree. Stiff, contorted branches with mahogany red bark contrast dramatically with the twisting, threadlike foliage, which displays shades that vary from yellow to gold and even chartreuse toward the interior. Unusual cockscombs occasionally develop at the tips and add to the striking texture. Chamaecyparis 'Sunny Swirl' makes an interesting small accent with wonderful form, texture, and color.
The Golden Dwarf Moss Cypress forms an extremely tight, flat, low, slow growing velvety bun. Exposed upper surface foliage is a dusted gold where it receives exposure to the sun. In warmer southern conditions, light shade will prevent surface burning. Chamaecyparis 'Golden Pin Cushion' is a much prized and treasured dwarf specimen.
A ground-hugging dwarf evergreen with bright lemon-yellow foliage. Juniperus 'Golden Wiltonii' is a wonderful low growing addition to the garden or let it add character to a container planting as it cascades gracefully over the edge. Prefers full sun in well-drained soil. Grow in rock gardens, troughs, or along the front edge of a bed.

Attractive blue-green evergreen accented with handsome, 8-12" pendulous, resinous cones. Forms a stocky, compact, drought tolerant tree. An excellent substitute for White Pines especially farther south. Here on the Illinois-Wisconsin border we find it to be slower growing, with a tighter form and less winter browning than Eastern White Pine. Matures up to 30-50' tall and 15-20' wide. Hardy to zone 4b (the warmer half of zone 4). Dense, upright evergreen. Grow Pinus 'Forest Sky' as a specimen in the landscape or in spacious areas as part of an evergreen group or screen.
A wonderful blue selection. Pinus 'Anna' is an especially distinctive Korean Pine that has long twisted (5-6") needles that are dark green above and silvery blue on the underside creating a bi-color effect up close, and an overall blue color when viewed from a distance. A very beautiful tree. Use this large growing Pine as a specimen in the landscape, or in spacious areas as part of an evergreen group or screen.
Genuinely dwarf Mugo Pine grows into a low, dense dome that stays compact without shearing. The mounding plant has a smooth appearance that comes from many evenly spaced needles growing at a uniform rate on abundant branchlets. Slow growing with 1-2" long needles. Grow Pinus 'Mops' in containers, patio settings, evergreen collections, and rock gardens.

A tiny, quintessential alpine conifer. This extremely slow-growing selection stands out among other Mugo Pines for its unusually tiny needles that cover very short branches. Many visible buds punctuate the foliage and contribute to the dynamic presence of this dense, slightly irregular, miniature bun. Pinus mugo 'Short Needle' is a reliable, very hardy selection for rock gardens, troughs, and evergreen collections.
In spring, the carmine-red pollen cones provide a dramatic contrast to the long, twisted, blue-green needles of this rare Japanese White Pine. Pinus 'Bergman' matures to form a compact, rounded shrub to small tree with a wide, irregular, upright habit that makes a nice architectural accent.
Vigorous, sturdy branches drape uniformly from each whorl of this compact, weeping Douglas Fir. Its long, dark-green needles, highlighted with an interesting, glaucous cast, radiate outward around the stems and create a lush, full appearance. This dependable, hardy plant, found by Albert Ziegler in York County, Pennsylvania, was named for his wife Grace. Stake in early years to develop a leader and trunk strength.

Japanese Umbrella Pine with a compact, well branched habit. Rounded in shape when young, developing slowly into a small, broad, pyramidal tree with glossy deep green foliage year-round. Sciadopitys 'Gruene Kugel' is an outstanding new selection from Germany. Very desirable evergreen for smaller scale settings, conifer collections, and as part of a mixed border.
Bright gold color in a desirable compact size. This colorful Arborvitae is perfect for flanking formal entryways, either in the ground or in large containers, or in the garden as an upright focal point. Thuja 'Filip's Magic Moment' is a sport of Thuja occidentalis 'Smaragd', slower growing than its parent. A Proven Winners/Color Choice® selection.
Dwarf, rounded evergreen with rich yellow-green foliage that darkens in winter. A Western Arborvitae from the famous Trompenburg Arboretum in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Use Thuja 'Trompenburg' in rock gardens, small garden settings, and as a specimen in dwarf evergreen collections. Prefers well-drained soil.
