Curling bark and great red fall color! Acer x Shaved ChocolateTM is our second generation selection from Acer griseum x A. nikoense with outstanding glossy bark that peels off in curled flakes for year round interest. Clean summer foliage and vibrant red fall leaf colors add to its desirability. It is difficult to propagate, so we only have a few of these Maples to offer. The original tree is about 16' tall and 6' wide.
Burgundy tips in early season on this very upright clump grass. Dusky purple tones develop as early as midsummer. In late summer, purple, three-branched seedheads are produced on reddish stems. Red highlights begin in early fall and increase until the clump is almost completely red in October. Andropogon, also known as Turkey's Foot or Big Bluestem, formed an important component of the American prairies. Drought tolerant. Andropogon gerardii 'Indian Warrior' is a long-lived grass with a variety of uses including screening, naturalizing, and as a wonderful backdrop for Echinacea and other tall flowers.

This petite Astilbe has very full, upright plumes of rosy pink flowers on sturdy stems above rich green foliage. Charming, double golden, lotus-like flowers in early spring. The colors on this Hellebore range from pale creamy yellow to light lemon, and some will have red edges, speckling, or streaking on the backs. Large 2" to 3-1/2", fully double flowers have 15-20 petals per flower, giving them a very full appearance. Helleborus 'Golden Lotus' is a vigorous grower.

Hellebores have very early spring blooms and handsome, leathery foliage. Plant in borders or a woodland edge. Give light to moderate shade for best flowering. Tolerant of heat and humidity, and when established, drier conditions. Highly deer resistant!

Fully double, very large, 3" flowers are deep purple to near-black and have 15-20 petals per flower, giving them a very full, fluffy appearance. As the season progresses, the sepals retain much of their color and remain on the flower, extending the interest long past the initial early spring bloom time. New foliage on this Hellebore is purple when it emerges in early spring, then matures to green.
