An early grown, vigorous free-flowering species with soft grayish green foliage. In late spring, masses of single intense magenta (sometimes white) flowers are produced on short stems. Each blossom is further enhanced by a broad ring of numerous bright pale-yellow anthers. Sun or light shade.
Peonies have large, spectacular blooms in late spring to early summer. A favorite for cut flower bouquets, the Peony is an easily grown, long lived, deer resistant perennial. Shipped bare root from September to November.
